She is survived by her Sister: Faye Mitchell and numerous Nieces and Nephews, Brother-In-Law: Bill Tekell, Sister-In-Law: Ruth Deggs, She was preceded in death by her Husband: Wilson Tekell of 26 years, Parents: Will and Katy Deggs, Brother: Walter Deggs, Sisters: Stella Meador, Ruth Hallmark and Florence Gregory. Blanche has been a member of St. Marks Presbyterian Church for many years. She retired from Southwestern Bell after 38 years of service. Memorials may be made to St. Marks Presbyterian Church. Family will receive friends Saturday, February 14, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. until Funeral Service time at 3:00 P.M. at the Grove Hill Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Grove Hill Memorial Cemetery.
