  I have info on Eddie's brother Luther from Tipton County. My great-grandfather's name was Luther Franklin Glass, he was from Atoka, TN, USA, and he married a Maggie Black. I think we might have some sort of connection. (posted by Eddie Sherrod Glass on ancestry.com Tipton County message board, 20 April 2000.) Luther Franklin Glass Dies at Home of Son Funeral rites for Luther Franklin Glass, 74, will be conducted at 3 p.m. tomorrow at the Nazarene Church in Charleston, Mo., by the Rev. Carl Castleman, pastor of the Gosnell Baptist Church. Mr. Glass, a farmer, died at the home of a son, Sam Glass at the Yarbro Community, last night, after an Illness of about six months. He was born In Covington, Tenn., and had lived there and at Charleston. Mo., most of his life. He had made his home with his son at Yarbro for about 18 months. His wife died at Charleston about eight years ago. The survivors include 10 children; five sons. Sam and Landis Glass of Blytheville, Leslie Glass of Hartford, Mich., Leonard Glass of East Prairie, Mo., and Woodrow Glass of Charleston; five daughters. Mrs. Lora Armstrong. Mrs. Roy Bone, Mrs. Everett Bone, and Mrs. Isaac Bone, all of Charleston, and Mrs. Joe Morgan of Blytheville. Also surviving is a brother. E. S. Glass of Burlison, Tenn., 41 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. The burial will be at the Oak Grove Cemetery at Charleston, and six grandsons; Leo and David Glass, Roy Marshall, James Armstrong and Mitton Morgan will be the pallbearers.
