Deceased Name: Robert L. Edwards
Robert L. Edwards, 79, of 152 Mine Road, Hershey, died Wednesday in Hershey Medical Center.
He was retired from Tennessee Eastman, Kingsport, Tenn., as marketing manager and was a former vice president and research/marketing manager for Eastman Kodak Co.; a graduate of Lebanon Valley College; and a member of Derry Presbyterian Church, Hershey, and Hershey Country Club.
Surviving are his wife, Iva Claire Weirick Edwards; a son, Robert C. of Knoxville, Tenn.; three daughters, Marjorie Douglass of Burlington, Vt., Dr. Kathryn Edwards of Woodstock, Vt., and Janet Martin of Raleigh, N.C.; two brothers, Dr. George of New Cumberland and Charles of Camp Hill; a sister, Jeanne Tesnar of Lancaster; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Hoover Funeral Home, Hershey. Burial will be in Liverpool Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
There will be no viewing or visitation.

- Dr. George E. Edwards, M.D., 89, of New Cumberland died Saturday, January 7, 2012 at the Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence, Susquehanna Twp.
He was a medical doctor and retired partner from Family Physicians in New Cumberland. A Navy veteran he proudly served in WWII as an officer aboard the USS Dauphin. He graduated from Lebanon Valley College and Pittsburgh Medical School. He was a dedicated husband and father.
He was born October 29, 1922 in Hummelstown to the late Ervin and Florence (Hinkle) Edwards. He was preceded in death by his brothers Robert and Charles.
He is survived by his wife, Marian T. Edwards; two sons, George T. and Steven A.; and a sister, Jeanne Tesnar.
Interment services with full military honors will be held at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Central PA, 1320 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg, PA 17110.
