Fayette County - JULIAN MACLIN WILLIAMSON, JR., 73, resident of the Somerville Community and Superintendent for the Lehman-Roberts Company in Memphis for 46 years before his retirement, died June 2, 2010. Funeral Services for Mr. Williamson will be at 4 PM Monday at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville with interment in the Woodlawn Cemetery near Mason. A visitation for family and friends will be from 2 to 4 PM Monday at Peebles. Mr. Williamson was the son of the late Julian Maclin Williamson, Sr., and Mary Trent Winfrey Williamson, early residents of Fayette, Tipton and Haywood Counties. A lifelong Presbyterian and avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, Mr. Williamson is survived by his daughter, Joanna Williamson Durham (Jeff) of Burlison, TN, his son, Julian Maclin Williamson III (Sheila) of Jackson, TN, and 4 grandchildren, Hanna Durham, Julian Maclin Williamson IV, Jake Durham and Aaron Williamson. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sally Winfrey Williamson Boswell of Somerville. The family requests that memorials be directed to the Bethlehem Community Church in Fayette County or to the American Cancer Society.
